Why Genea

World leading fertility

There are dozens of fertility clinics out there claiming to the best option for your patients. At first glance they might look like they are offering similar treatments and comparable levels of care - but this couldn’t be further from the truth. Not only do clinics offer different things, they have vastly different levels of experience, scientific ability, processes and care. That means the clinic you choose to recommend to your patient will have a huge impact on their chance of conceiving.

The science of success

At Genea we’ve been leading the way in fertility advances for over 30 years. By investing approximately 10 per cent of our revenue annually in R&D, we’ve developed world-class technology that’s used in over 60 countries and 600 clinics around the world. From 22 years experience in developing our culture media - those important vital solutions that nurture your embryos outside the body to our catheters and incubators, our expertise shows throughout the IVF journey.

We were the first clinic in Australia to introduce routine single embryo transfer and routinely do Day Five embryo transfers, virtually doubling success rates in the 90s. Plus, we lead the way in preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), a technique we do with more success than any other clinic in Australia.

Caring counts

As well as being at the forefront of science, we also provide a level of care like no other. This matters from a personal point of view (hey, we all like to feel well cared for) but it also contributes hugely to our success. With fertility, timing is everything, so we’re here for patients 24/7. This means we can ensure things like egg collection happen at the best possible time for your patient, not just when it’s most convenient for us.

All this adds up to one thing: greater success rates. Around 60 per cent of our patients will have a baby, regardless of age – and close to 90 per cent of those will happen within three cycles or less.
